We intend to get an undermount TEKA kitchen sink as the model we are eyeing fit nicely into our kitchen layout. However, my wife-to-be hopes to fit the sink tap on the sink itself. I've called up a day earlier to enquire. The lady that I spoke to mentioned that there is a bit of space for doing that but we had to get our own plumber to drill the hole for the tap. Unconvinced, we just had to see for ourselves before buying it.
Anyway, once we were there, we spoke to a sales person named "CD". When asked if we can drill a hole in the sink to fit the tap, her immediate reaction is "Cannot". My heart sort of sank. I know that my wife-to-be doesn't want to install the tap on the kitchen top. And that means we might have to restart our search again. I am now waiting for her reaction. To my surprise, she says OK. Phew. All the anxieties are gone. =)
We subsequently bought a kitchen tap at TEKA as well. Here are some pictures showing how they look like and their dimensions.
